How Micromet Works

Stage 1
Micromet field technicians undertake a comprehensive
site evaluation and install a Micromet Management Unit
to the existing irrigation controller. |

Stage 2
Weather stations record real-time weather conditions using ground based weather stations and doppler rain radar. |

Stage 3
The Micromet central server uses this information
to calculate which sites require irrigation. |
 |
Stage 4
A signal is transmitted to each Micromet
Management Unit to initiate irrigation. |
 |
Stage 5
Micromet applies only the required amount of
water based on its patented, plant driven methodology. |
 |
Stage 6
If required, customers can override and schedule
irrigations via the internet and telephone. |
